Mike Davidson will interact with studio guests author Stephen Baskerville, professor of government at Patrick Henry College, USA; teacher, researcher and theologian Dr Carys Moseley, and Roger Kiska, consultatnt to the Christian Legal Centre.

Our subject will be the rising mandatory gay culture steadily manifested in the ban and proposed ban of "conversion therapy".  Currently is AB 2943, California State legilsation aiming at a blanket ban, irrespective of age and expected to have serious repercussions for freedom of speech and the right to self identify as "ex-gay".  In addition, the "Prohibition of Conversion Therapies Bill" is being elevated by Sinn Fein and other parties in the Irish Republic.  This follows multiple private members' bills in the United Kingdom proposing similar bans over the last three or four years.

But what's behind this, given there are so notably few groups and individuals that offer therapeutic support for unwanted same-sex attractions (let alone "Conversion Therapy" – whatever they mean)?  Stephen Baskerville will help us to unpack the sexual politics behind this, Carys Mosely will cite arguments we may not have thought about the topic and flag the unintended consequences of such action. Roger Kiska will keep us right with the law, analyse these initiatives and bring us updates on the submission to the Northern Irish Equality Commission submission (and other bodies) following the ban of "Voices of the Silenced" by Queen's Film Theatre in Belfast.

Also screening for the first time will be the reactions of ordinary Irish people (and vistors to the region) to the change in the law regarding abortion in the Irish state, and the fact that it now proposes to force people to stay gay.
