Education, not Indoctrination: Who's the real bully?

On Thursday, July 5th, Stonewall hosted its 7th annual conference on Education for All at The British Library, London. They said their aim is to stamp out homophobic bullying and to equip educators and youth professionals with the tools, resources and confidence needed to teach gender diversity through celebration of ‘different’ families to all school age children, aged 5 and above. But CIT argued that Stonewall is deliberately misrepresenting the facts about bullying in an attempt to silence contrary views and promote its own agenda, ‘foregrounding’ homophobic abuse in such a way as to ignore other unacceptable behaviours...

The London Bus Campaign

Monday, 16 April 2012 was to see the launch of an advertising campaign carrying the slogan, 'Not gay! Post-gay and proud. Get over it.' London buses, travelling five different routes, will carry the advert for two weeks. The organisers, argued that Stonewall's similar bus campaign, launched to support their ‘equal’ marriage website, implies the false idea that there is indisputable scientific evidence that people are ‘born gay’, and th at they have no choice but to affirm their homosexual feelings. They claimed that Stonewall's slogan, "Some people are gay. Get over it!" is merely another attempt to close down critical debate about being gay and marriage ‘equality’, and warn that the promotion of homosexual practices to children and young people, many of whom are known to experience ambivalence as they sort through issues of sexual identity, is misleading and dangerous...

The Lepers Among Us

The event looked at the call is for the Church to be and become Family for all sinning Saints, including those who struggle with same sex sins - to stop dispensing a hush-hush shame and begin mediating grace openly to all believers who struggle with gender identity issues. Like all of us, same sex strugglers from time to time need professional counselling or a para-church group, but neither can possibly do the work of publicly and openly redeeming a life for a lifetime. Only the Church can do such a great work!
