Isn't it as wrong as racism to suggest that people should change their sexuality?
Those propmoting the homosexual lifestyle sometimes argue that as race is merely a byproduct of inherited genes, so too is homosexuality. The fact is that people of color reproduce and pass on the DNA that makes the skin brown, but homosexuals do not, infact homosexuals cannot reproduce. Surely If homosexuality is a genetic trait and homosexuality an 'orientation' in more than identity, the trait would die in the first generation? Nature doesn't perpetuate homosexuality. These ideas have been considered more fully in an article by Dr Derek Grier.
Another point to note about this question is that no one associated with CORE is suggesting that anyone 'should' change their sexuality. We believe that people have the right to decide how they want to identify themselves and the choice to seek full heterosexual potentiality is a persosnal right.
